I’m a big lover of women’s sweaters –and I’ll wager you are too. I’m a little bit older now (I’m nearly 50), along with I’ve discovered a curious thing: despite the fact that sweaters continue to be popular with girls — even younger ladies — the younger women have a decidedly different accept what they similar to, and don’t similar to, than elderly generations.
There was a time when the majority of females had abandoned knitting, for instance, instead departing it up with a company to mass-produce a woman’s knitted sweater. I think that many in the baby-boom era largely abandoned the skill of sewing — they felt which it was just too old-fashioned. But I ‘m noticing that more and more younger women are learning to knit — and as evidence this I would point you to the volume of Internet websites which are offering totally free knitting habits for women’s sweaters. Certainly not all of those patterns are perfect — some are usually outright over-the-top! — but it is possible to some jewels there, i see increasingly more younger women continuously signing up for sewing classes in their local community college or even community centers.

You absolutely can wear it with something underneath. Don't try to be too matchy-matchy but otherwise you can match all you want. What I like about beige is that you can wear ALL sorts of colors underneath. Don't be afraid to go overboard with a color. Be creative. I have a similar very warm sweaterdress from last season French Connection, and I jsut wore it with light long-sleeved cotton shirt underneath, and it was perfectly fine in Chicago weather.

Live with it and know that appearances are not essential in your particular business or to your boss. Then I would consider all the factors of the current working environment and ponder whether or not to try to aim for a promotion in another company where I felt like I better fit in. I would decide what was most important to me.
