Incorporated in 1998, Kiri is engaged in the business of manufacturing of reactive dyes which are called synthetic organic dyes used for cotton fabrics like garments, dress materials, bed-sheets, carpets etc.
Kiri Industries Debt:
During FY2010-11, the company completed Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) of R239.02Cr by way of issue of 40 Lacs equity shares of Rs.10 each, at a premium of R587.55 per equity share. The funds raised from QIP were utilized to repay outstanding unsecured loans which were raised for acquiring stake in DyStar which was acquired in Nov2010, to enhance production capacities of Dyes Intermediates and Specialty Dyes Intermediates. It also started commercial production one of the plants Dyes Intermediates, namely Vinyl Sulphone since 15 March 2011. Kiri Dyes also has 40:60 JV with China based - Zhejiang Lonsen Group to form Lonsen-Kiri Chemical Industries Ltd. The JV has a manufacturing facility at Padra near Vadodara.
