I put some vaseline onto my dress by mistake, how can I remove it,av washed the dress, its not coming out?
A liquid dish soap such as Dawn, should do the trick. Dawn is a great degreaser, so it can easily break down oily stains. Apply it to the stain at least 20 minutes before washing.
If you have already dried it, mix a little baking soda into the Dawn to make a paste.
this can be a website, a wholesale distributor, or a store. but they should have the fabric for the lowest price, and the fabric should be of good quality.
Try Joann's Fabric stores.
They usually have a great selection of Cotton fabrics.

Daughters of the American Revolution learn colonial dress
— The Saint Lucie River Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution hosted its October 12 meeting and luncheon at the Port St. Lucie Holiday Inn.
Regent Dolores Taliercio called the meeting to order and welcomed guest speaker M.Carol Cole. Registrar Peggy Silletto welcomed new member Carol E. Maxwell and announced new member Bridget Bishop from Vermont.
Ms. Cole is a FSSDAR Co-Chairman of Chapters Renewal Committee, Regent Abigail Wright Chamberlin DAR in Melbourne, past regent of Saint Lucie River Chapter and is currently an Associate Member. She gave an interesting and detailed report about Fashionable Colonists during 18th century Colonial Boston. She owns several Colonial Women's dresses and explained how the garments were made and worn. The casuual women's dress attire, which included garments made of loose fabric, linen or cotton, known as bed gowns, had 3/4 sleeves worn with a petticoat. Their hair was pinned up, a cap was worn to protect the hair from dust and dirt during the daily activities and a hat was tied on top of the cap when going out. Gowns, worn for formal occasions, were made of silk with crisp ruffles at the elbows or bottom of the gown, with the front bodice attached to the skirt, which was made of draped fabric layers measuring several yards, the skirt was open in front to reveal the separate petticoat. Fashionable ladies stays were wanted for good shape and working women needed them for good support. Shoes were made of silk fabrics or leath;er fastened by fuckles or clasps. Silk stockigs, gloves, a small handbag and a fan were worn with a formal gown.
Horny Toad Clothing Functional Clothing For Men and Women Review
It seems we have skipped fall here and headed straight into winter. The temperatures have been ridiculously cold, which means bundling up to stay warm. While I am a jeans and sweater girl, I still enjoy wearing dresses with boots in the winter. There is something cute about leggings, a darling dress, and high heeled boots. And one company that has stylish women’s dresses perfect for the cooler weather is Horny Toad Clothing . Horny Toad is an apparel company which started in 1997, based in Santa Barbara, California, that has functional clothing for men and women. Most of their clothing is made with sustainable fibers like organic cotton as well as clean cellulosics such as Tencel and Modal, giving you clothing which is soft and comfortable.
Leopard Dress & Cotton Piqué Dress – Shirley - Britex Fabrics - Blog
Shirley made these two dresses from Britex Fabrics. She says, “The dress itself is leopard print silk chiffon (a 2 3/8 yd remnant) with an overlay of your finest lace (a 7/8 yd remnant), lined in silk. I bought a Vogue shirt pattern for the sleeve cap and armhole shapes, then made the actual pattern in order to get the shape I wanted. The total cost was approximately $180 (the lace!), but it was inspired by a magazine photo of a Valentino dress that retailed for $4490………..not only a major savings, but I like mine much better! I’ve also included another Britex project from this summer. I recently wore this in the store, and of course, everyone recognized the fabric. I got so many compliments!” The black and white cotton dress is made from a lovely ribbed, cotton piqué fabric has a decidedly graphic feel; with a black and white pattern of varying sized rectangles, this design is reminiscent of skyscraper windows or city street maps (available in our online store!) We love how Shirley paired it with a bright yellow cardigan.

The base layer (closest to your skin) should be a polyester fabric, like athletic pants and shirts. Beware of cotton! Snowshoeing is a highly aerobic activity, and you'll generate a lot of body heat. Cotton does nothing but absorb moisture.
