This very nice Edwardian Tea Dress is in marvelous condition and was worn as a wedding dress in 1986! This dress came unused from a ladies dress shop of 1910 and has only been worn three times. It is made of cotton, has long sleeves, lots of stunning embroidery work, what looks like hand-made lace, and a gorgeous lacey high neck collar. Closures include: 2 hook and eyes on the collar, 9 crotched buttons down the back, and 6 more hook and eyes further down the skirt. Measurements Shoulder to shoulder: 15″ Sleeve length: 18 3/4″ (armpit to end of sleeve) Waist: 20 1/2″ (doubled waist measurement when flat) Dress length: 58 1/2″ Condition: Excellent condition. Victorian Edwardian 1903 Day Dress Suit Wedding outfit. Made of fine cotton batiste sheer organdy fabric. Has tons of micro pleats sewninto skirt. Top is made of same cotton fabric with Net Lace with flowers or snow flakes needlepoint design. This is made to resemble handmade lace but it is machine made. This is silk netting and cotton embroidery lace. It is in very good and strong condition. Blouse is cut like dove pigeon billow front, with yoke of lace, lace cuffs, puffed huge sleeves. Closure is at center back. Has stand up Lace Collar. PLEASE NOTE, our mannequin has a scarf wrapped round its neck and it is in the way of the view of the lace stand up collar. The overall condition of the suit is very good. There are two repairs at hemline, which are barely noticeable. There is some minor fabric separation on back of skirt at bottom of center back closure. It is not noticeable when the skirt is worn over petticoat. There are some tiny separations and pin holes here and there as this dress is over 100 years old. Otherwise, it is clean, hand washable, washed, steam pressed and in wearable condition. STUNNING LACE CUFFS. The dress is on a dressform size us Ladies Women 10 from 1980s. This outfit will fit size us 6 to 8. it is a little too small for the mannequin. Nice Wedding or Earlly Edwardian dress. measurements bust approx up to 36 waist 26; length of skirt from waist to hem at center front 43 and 45 at center back. skirt can be let out at waist and taken up or down in hem. blouse can be let out at waist there are lots of gathers.
