I have a sack dress kinda like this pic but it's gray cotton, above my knees & is kinda poofy & turns under at the bottom. It's very loos fitting & not flattering at all. What could I wear with this to make it cute for spring???
As you said Sack Dresses are not flattering at all and from my own experience their not i have one i love it but i think it makes me look like i'm 4 dress sizes bigger than what i really am (which doesn't help as i have a figure like a ruler i.

2) reshape the side seams; dump the ties.
3) draw a chalk line parallel to the floor

The headline on my local newspaper's business section read, "JOB FAIR DRAWS 1,000!" for an "over 50" job fair.
Below the headlines was a three-column photo of an "over 50" gentleman talking to an employer looking to hire older workers.
He was wearing what looked like cotton khakis and a golf shirt.
"What was he thinking?" I yelled across the breakfast table.
My wife, looking over my shoulder, said:
"Well, maybe that's how he dressed in his last job. Things are more casual now."
"He no longer has his last job!" I said.
"Hasn't he ever heard that 'first impressions are lasting impressions?'"
Although I am totally opposed to casual dress in the workplace, I know it is happening.
I also know that when you dress for business, you look and act more professionally, and you are generally much more productive.
When you are engaged in a job search, you simply must be sure to put forth your best possible first impression.
